my first tattoo

I got this tattoo about 3 weeks ago, and I'm in love with it. The quote is something a friend once said, and I thought of it as an optimistic motto for life. I never wanted to forget that friend, or the message. It's a tattoo that means a lot to me.

wow i really like this! The stars are awesome and I like the location so it looks like when you are wearing pants you can see a few stars, very cool!

Thanks guys! You can see a few of the stars when I've got my trousers on; people are always going, 'Wow, do you have stars tattooed there?' and they're really surprised when they see the whole thing because it's bigger than they expect!

Your first tattoo? That's impressive. Midrif or side tattoos are always painful, especially if they are big. Kudos!

Weirdly, it actually didn't hurt at all. None of my mates believe me when I say that, btu it was just like someone was running a vibrating pencil over my skin. The one on my foot was a killer though.

usually i don't like tattoos that take up a lot of space...this is such an exception. i love this...especially the quote.
